zubedy ideahouse is the publicity, communications, and creative arm of zubedy. Its main responsibilities include zubedy’s communications projects such as our full-page festive ads, book publications, and Unity products. zubedy ideahouse also runs events such as contact talks, youth gatherings, and client meet-ups.
Since 2001 our full-page festive ads have been in the newspaper, and they have become our immediate recognition for the public. Our festive ads feature admirable historical figures from around the world and talk about the Malaysian values and issues of Unity while addressing current matters. Every year a theme is picked for the festive ads with our signature wish of “Have A Meaningful”. Apart from the festive ads, full-page ads of Anas Zubedy’s open letters and campaigns have been featured as well.
Our books are of four series, namely the ‘to Unite People’, ‘to Inspire People’, ‘Teh Tarik’, and ‘Cili Padi’ series. In keeping with our passion and values, all of our books have been written with a central theme of unity. While the majority of our books are of local interest with a strong Malaysian flavour, our books are still relevant for the global audience due to its unity-centred theme. Written to be read by every man of every level, several of our publications have been launched by royal and national leaders – sparking media interests in our publication.
We constantly engage our clients and the public through our various events. We have been organizing an annual Hari Malaysia celebration since 2001 – a decade before it is even a public holiday. We have also been engaging youths through our ‘Gathering of Youths for Unity’ or GOYFU for short. To date, we have had 4 instalments of this gathering. Most significantly, since 2011, we have been organizing and managing the #SaySomethingNice campaign held annually during the 17-day period between Hari Merdeka and Hari Malaysia. The campaign has grown to be zubedy’s major unity advocacy project, in which we coordinate various events/programs by corporate organizations, governmental agencies, NGOs, universities/schools, and like-minded individuals passionate about unity and Malaysia.
As we believe in touching the lives of everyone we know and adding value to everything, every one of our festive adverts, publication, and events is aimed at spreading the message of Unity as well as messages of celebration, acceptance, and knowledge.
