 Our ethnoreligious belief systems have always advocated for the appreciation of the collective. The Hindu lore tells the story of how the devas helped feed each other when they could not feed themselves. The Buddha once admonished a group of monks for not taking care of each other. The Bible teaches us to love our neighbours. And the Quran speaks of the duty to get to know the diverse people on this earth.

 In the professional world, as in life, we must also go back to basics and embrace the people within our organisation.
