Anas Zubedy - Managing Director/ Principal Consultant
Anas Zubedy is a Malaysian businessman who speaks English, Malay, Hokkien, and some Tamil. Born in Penang in 1964, he grew up amongst Malays, Chinese, Indians and Eurasians. His early socialisation and experiences shaped his beliefs in multiculturalism and created a deep desire within himself to promote unity. A graduate of Universiti Malaya, Anas worked in marketing and sales for a multinational before launching zubedy (m) sdn bhd, a for-profit organisation that combines business goals with a social cause. zubedy’s vision is to unite people and get them to work together, while its mission is to add value to everyone the organisation interacts with. Over the past 27 years zubedy has succeeded in striking a dynamic balance between making a profit and ensuring the wellbeing of its people and the communities it operates in. Anas’ first love is religion and culture; he spent more time reading about Hinduism, Chinese philosophy, Buddhism, Christianity and Islam than learning his coursework at the university. He is also passionate about change management, organisational behaviour, marketing, and politics. Anas loves teh tarik, roti canai, Penang laksa, and Indian food. He listens to an eclectic mix of music, avoids the television, and prefers to meet people, read, write, and work out. ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS Anas has written several books. Sharon Ng – Independent Consultant
Sharon brings with her 18 years of corporate experience in sales, marketing and human resource development; and more than 15 years of experience in conducting training programs. She facilitates corporate training programs on Personal Change and other programs like Presentation Skills, and Business Writing. see more
“Training programs should be applicable to participants’ needs at work, at home and in their personal lives.” With this philosophy, Sharon addresses these varied needs in a fun and interactive manner, to ensure participants are committed to practice the training tools and concepts after attending training. Sharon has a Certificate in Training and Development from ITD, UK; and the CBTE (Competency-Based Training and Education) Certification from DETAFE, South Australia. She holds a TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language) certificate as well as certification as an NLP Practitioner. At zubedy, Sharon is an established facilitator that also assist management to develop and coach new facilitators in program such as Making A Difference among others.

She started her career in financial sector serving Maybank for 5 years as a financial executive, selling insurance, unit trust and credit card. She subsequently joined USST, a manufacturing produces security printing products as a customer service and sales executive for 2 years. Later, she was given the opportunity in KLMU, one of the private higher education institution to gain her teaching experience as a lecturer and operation head from 2008 to 2011 lecturing subjects such as Entrepreneurship, Management, Marketing, International Business, Business Ethics, Strategic Management, Principles of Finance, Organizational Behaviour, Sales Management, and Contemporary Business. Azlawati was heading zubedy’s administration and operation team for 8 years, and currently she is one of the facilitators for change management, leadership and supervisory, sales, human resources and graduate employability program. Azlawati Fahmi has been serving the academic, finance, banking, selling, operations as well as human resource and administration departments for the past 18 years. Her experiences require her to interact with various people in several industries as well as liaising with government agencies, hence helped her to polish her communication skills and gain experience in statutory requirements on various industrial issues. She possesses excellent analytical skills, especially in the education, human resources, finance and strategic management. An experienced, dynamic and passionate individual, Azlawati is able to relate and work with people from various social and corporate backgrounds. She loves to read, hiking and enjoys travelling with her family.
Norashikin Baharom – Independent Consultant
Norashikin Baharom played a management role at Talent Corporation Malaysia prior to joining zubedy as an Independent Education Consultant. She has more than 21 years in higher education both in the areas of regulatory governance and academics in private colleges and universities. see more
Key areas of expertise are: Norashikin key role as the Head of Governance and Regulatory Affairs for the Taylor’s University Group was to ensure compliance of policies and standards set by the Ministry of Higher Education and Malaysian Qualification Agency. Through her good relationships with regulators, she provided statutory advisory related to university management and academic related matters to various shareholders. She managed Taylor’s University Group of licensing, programme approvals and accreditations that totalled to 175 programmes which ranged from pre-university to doctorate programmes. She also played a key role in the recruitment of lecturers to ensure quality teaching resources. At Taylor’s University, Norashikin played the role as the key liaison for the various ministries, professional bodies, foreign university partners and accreditation bodies. Possessing strong communication and coordination skills, she facilitated relationships between public universities and industry partners during her tenure as ead of Structured Internship Programme, Talent Corporation Malaysia. At Taylor’s University, Norashikin’s role was Deputy Registrar/Head of Compulsory Subjects. She managed teaching resources for 2500 students taking the modules being offered. As the Head of Academics for PRIME Group of Colleges, Norashikin lead, managed and developed department academic strategy in ensuring excellence in all activities. She managed five schools with a total of 55 academicians and 12 academic programmes. Norashikin’s experience in project management started when she was employed by Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR) under the graduate employment scheme. A project manager for Hospital Besar Kuantan, Pahang which was a ‘turn-key’ project, she engaged with various authorities, contractors and various stakeholders in ensuring timely project completion and adherence to contract. Strategic project management skill was also put to use in the merger of colleges under Taylor’s University Group and during the upgrade to university status. Delivered Talent Corporation Malaysia Graduate Employability training modules at 11 bootcamps held at various public universities in 2017 to unemployed graduates. It was a 3-day bootcamp with direct hiring from industry partners on the final day. A former technical communications lecturer at British Malaysian Institute and Institute Technology Pertama, Norashikin has lectured the following modules, namely Engineering Communication, Architectural Communication and Business Communication Norashikin has developed several EAP (English for Academic Purposes) programmes which addressed students’ needs in an academic context. She developed the Architecture Communications programme, approved by the University of Melbourne, Australia especially developed for students prior to continuing to Melbourne. She also developed the Engineering Communication module for British Malaysian Institute Engineering Faculty. In addition, the English for Nurses module developed for PRIME College in collaboration with Edith Cowan University (ECU), Australia fulfilled the IELTS 7.0 required by ECU.
Aby Mahmood - Facilitator
Aby Mahmood is a seasoned customer service professional with 13 years of experience, with a particular specialty in contact centres. He studied Hotel Management and Human Resource Management at Universiti Teknologi Mara, Shah Alam. see more
Aby started his career in Digi Telecommunications as a contact centre agent after he completed his studies. During his tenure there, he was assigned to various areas of contact centre from operations up to managerial roles. His last management and contact centre operation experience in a utility company sparked the interest to share his passion and experience with others. For him, sharing is caring. Born in Kuala Lumpur, Aby is a nature lover. He loves reading books about management and human behaviour, travelling, and also cooking. Aby is a family oriented individual with many treasures to share. He is young at heart and a unique individual. His warm personality allows him to connect with others with great ease. He has a very strong drive in uplifting the quality of customer service in Malaysia – a drive translated in his work as a full-time learning facilitator for zubedy.
Dayana Adinan - Facilitator
Dayana is a manager with over 7 years of experience with zubedy’s creative marketing arm – zubedy ideahouse. Equipped with Master of Visual Communication and New Media from Universiti Teknologi MARA, she has been the woman behind zubedy’s various publications, advertisements, and events. see more
As a young Art & Design graduate, Dayana started her career as a Graphic Designer and Event Coordinator in a reputable event organiser. Among others, she handled events for Celcom, Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad, and various SMEs. Dayana was also instrumental in a local event in conjunction with World Cup 2010. Her next endeavour was to join zubedy ideahouse – zubedy’s creative marketing division. Working her way up from a Graphic Designer, she is now the Creative Team Leader (a managerial position) with all junior creative staff reporting under her. To date, Dayana has aided, coordinated, and helmed various creative projects in zubedy. Chief among which is the #SaySomethingNice campaign – zubedy’s annual unity advocacy event. She has been with the campaign since its beginning back in 2011 and is still very much involved today. Born in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, Dayana is an art lover. She loves creating creative artwork, reading books on creativity and human behaviour, travelling, and also taking part in high-powered motorcycle convoy. In zubedy, aside from her facilitation tasks, Dayana is managing the creative team in zubedy ideahouse and also the Zubedy Audio Visual, another business by zubedy ideahouse.
